Eric is the CEO of Tego, a leading specialist healthcare underwriting agency offering medical and malpractice indemnity solutions for the healthcare sector. Tego’s nimble approach and specialist expertise allows them to offer enhanced solutions to help brokers and clients navigate emerging healthcare risks.
Qualification
His qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business and law, a master’s degree from UNSW in law and management and an MBA from the AGSM. Prior to founding Tego, Eric’s career spanned both insurance and legal services. Eric is actively involved in a number of community organisations and serves as a board member on a number of organisations.

Underwriting Manager
David is Underwriting Manager at Tego Insurance and has been with the company for 6 years. He studied English Literature in London but swapped words for numbers and started underwriting, before moving to Australia in pursuit of a significant scenery change.
Bio
Since joining Tego as its first employee he has enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside Eric and have a direct impact on the company’s development and success, including responsibilities across product development, business development, and underwriting management, as well as supporting the professional development of the team.
Outside of work, David enjoys an active outdoors lifestyle and can be found mountain biking, rock climbing, trail running and more, often refreshing afterwards with a craft beer in the sun. When it’s raining, he is likely to be playing guitar or trying to fix his golf swing.
